How the Tacoma CDL training works
In just four weeks, you can be behind the wheel earning money with your CDL. Our course meets all industry and state expectations, and you can be confident that you’ll be ready on day one. Our four-week course looks like this:
Week 1: Classroom work to make sure you know what to do — it’s the “theory” section, and you’ll be ready to take and pass the exams for your CDL learner’s permit and endorsements.
Week 2: You’ll be training “in the lab” — working in actual trucks on our range; we’ll work on planning, backing, and other skills which every trucker needs.
Week 3: The lab work in the field continues, and you get the chance to practice everything you need for the road tests.
Week 4: The final week makes sure you are ready for your career. We’ll review the things you do really well, and give you plenty of practice for the things you need to practice. You’ll be out on the road, on highways, and learning the skills needed for long-distance trucking.
Affordable Truck Driver Training in Tacoma
Like all training, CDL School might seem a bit expensive. Don’t be put off by the cost — we can help you find many ways to help pay for it.
Remember, you’re developing skills for a lifetime career which can start you around $50,000 and pay well more than $100,000 for experienced truckers who are owner-operators. Your investment in your future will pay off.
How Have Your Tacoma Trucking Students Done?
“Best Cdl school! The instructor knows a couple languages which helps a lot and they work with your busy life schedule to help you get your cdl. The student passing rate is almost 100% and this school is up to date with all FMCSA and Washington regulations. I would recommend this cdl school to everyone!”
“5 stars ain’t high enough. These guys are awesome. They’re kind, understanding & they are very flexible with how often or how long you can attend school each day. I work nights & they allowed me to learn when I could. They worked with my schedule. They also really invest into their students. They genuinely want everyone to learn correctly & pass. Very patient & professional. All seem constantly positive. Not only that, now that I have my CDL I can still come in & continue to learn or get more driving experience at no extra cost. They also speak multiple languages if that’s important to you.”
